Cancer Awareness FREE PDF Download Crochet pattern

Cancer Awareness Free Crochet Pattern

Pink October, breast cancer awareness month is coming soon, so I decided to share some patterns with you. You can find a FREE PDF Download Crochet Pillow and Blanket (C2C and Tapestry Crochet) Pattern at the end of the article.

I have written about this theme before, and I also shared some free patterns. You can find the link to my previous post here: FREE crochet breast awareness ribbon – free crochet video tutorials.

Did you know that there are 16 different colored cancer type awareness ribbons?

You can change the ribbon color to represent the exact cancer somebody is fighting or has already survived it. See the image below.

Color Purple also represents Lupus Awareness.

Ribbon colors are determined by nationally recognized, non-profit organizations that provide support, education, and awareness for individual cancers.

If you know any ribbon color that is not mentioned here, please share it with me in the comments below. I would love to learn more.

You can make such an optimistic blanket or pillow from tutorials below. When people are going through difficult times, they need all the support and encouragement they can get. You can make a handmade gift for someone who is newly diagnosed, someone who is going through treatment, to support family or friends, to celebrate a survivor or remember someone who has passed.

Find the FREE PDF Download blanket and pillow crochet pattern at the end of the post, but first, I would like to share with you more awareness patterns I made that you can find in my Etsy Shop – PrettyThingsByKatja. In the end, you can also find a Coupon Code for 20% off on all of my patterns.
