Hi and welcome to my page.
My story
My name is Katja Simončič. I am a stay at home mum of a baby boy. We live in a small town, Krško in Slovenia.
Since I was a little girl, I always did something with my hands. I have been crafting and creating jewelry and toys as long as I can remember. My passion was making beaded jewelry, but when I got pregnant, I had to lay down a lot, and you can not work with beads that way. I just have to create something, so I fell in love with crocheting again. Especially amigurumi and tapestry crochet, but I like crocheting hats, baby blankets, shoes, dresses, everything.
Crocheting is a big part of my life now, and as we all know, crocheting, buying yarn, and collecting patterns are three different hobbies.
Why I created this blog?
I created this blog because I wanted to share patterns, that I love to collect so much. My goal is to connect crocheters and make a page where we could help each other, get to know each other, and form a community.
I will post a lot of free patterns from different designers; I will interview successful designers so that we will get to know them, their story, and what inspires them. Because I know that crocheters don´t have time to read, but we do like background noise, I will make video interviews. So that you can enjoy them while you crochet.
In my blog, you will read crocheting tips, I will write about yarn and yarn shops. And of course, I will share a lot of crochet patterns.
I respect pattern creators.
I think they are really inspiring. That is why I will link to their page in my posts. I will not share patterns that are payable for free.

I unfortunately do not have facebook.
I have a crochet pattern that is in russian and I am having a hard time getting it translated. The terms in the pattern do not match what is in your translations and I do not what to do or where to go to get help. Google translate and the other inline translations are not translating the pattern properly……would you be able to help me or send me to the right place to translate the pattern?
I would greatly appreciate the help.

Hi. Thank you for your comment. If Google Translate doesn’t help, and you can not find the terms in my post, I would suggest you make a Facebook account. It is free, and there are so many Crocheting Groups, it is really fascinating to share with others. And I believe that someone in the Russian Translate Group might help you. I wish I could help you more. Let me know if you will be able to solve your problem. 🙂
