How to Download Crochet Patterns on Etsy: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you’ve recently purchased one of my digital Crochet Patterns on Etsy and are facing issues downloading it, don’t fret! You’re not alone. Today, I’m here to guide you through the downloading process. Before we dive in, remember that I offer two types of digital effects:
– Instant Downloads: Available immediately upon payment confirmation.
– Made-to-Order Downloads: Created based on your specifications and sent to you once completed.
Why You Should Use a Browser Instead of the Etsy App
The most common issue my customers face is attempting to download their digital patterns through the Etsy app. Unfortunately, the app currently doesn’t support downloading digital items. Instead, you should use a web browser on your mobile device or computer. Here are some of the popular web browsers you can use:
– Google Chrome
– Mozilla Firefox
– Safari (for Apple devices)
– Microsoft Edge
– Opera
Steps to Download Your Digital Items:
If You Have an Etsy Account:
1. Sign in to Etsy.com using your web browser.
2. Go to Your Account.
3. Navigate to Purchases and Reviews.
4. Find your order and select “Download Files”.
If You Don’t Have an Etsy Account:
If you bought the item as a guest, check the receipt email you received after your purchase. A download link will be there.
Where is My Download Notification Email?
If you can’t find the download email, check your spam folder. For Gmail users, also check your ‘Social’ and ‘Promotions’ tabs. If you still can’t find it, add transaction@etsy.com to your address book for future reference. You can still access your purchases from your Etsy account.
Having Trouble Downloading?
– Disable any non-standard browser add-ons, like ad-blockers, and try again.
– If the file appears to be corrupted, delete it and re-download.
Refunds or Cancellations
Please note that digital items are generally non-refundable, as indicated on each item page. However, if you encounter any issues, you’re always welcome to contact me via Etsy Messages.
